Father Charles Davis, 1936-2009
 Father Charles Davis, 1936-2009, Founding Chaplain of Holy Trinity Catholic High School. Our beloved Father Charlie passed away Friday, Dec. 18, at about 4:30 p.m. His passion, his love, and his laugh helped all of us come closer to Christ. He was the heart and soul of Holy Trinity. He was the driving force behind the school's success. Father Charlie last said Mass at Holy Trinity on Nov. 11, 2009. The picture above is from that Mass. He will be missed, but we know he is smiling on us from heaven. "But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace." Thank you to all who attended Father Charlie's funeral. The choir consisted of current students and alumni from the classes of 2001, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. Holy Trinity also was represented with three students serving as altar servers, one current parent as a gift bearer, and two alumni as pall bearers. I think it is safe to say that the funeral was also the largest gathering of current students and alumni that the school has ever had, and that's as it should be.
