The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character, which are its four pillars. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.
The Holy Trinity Chapter of the National Honor Society is specifically committed to instilling in the school community the importance of the virtue of patriotism as opposed to the vice of nationalism. The care and keeping of the flags, as well as a special service on or near Veteran's Day have come to be known as some of the hallmarks of Holy Trinity's NHS Chapter.
