    • Thank you for taking the time to find out more about our school!

Holy Trinity is unique because it offers a full range of curricular and extracurricular programs in a Christ-centered environment.

Since 1997, we have been the premier Catholic independent college preparatory school in the Temple/Killeen area, and our graduates have excelled not only in college but in their careers. Our mission is to educate the "Christian Leaders of Tomorrow."  As our area's business has become more international, so has our student body, curriculum, and instruction. We challenge our students to live morally, think creatively, and communicate effectively.  Our curriculum is grounded in the traditions and experiences of the past, yet it is directly connected to the issues of the future.

Each student who is admitted to Holy Trinity guides the future of the school. Our school could not continue to exist without the admission and influence of new students. The character of our school is molded by the new students and the talents that they bring to us. Holy Trinity offers a family environment with a small faculty-to-student ratio.  We also appreciate that parents are an integral part of a child's education.  We encourage parents to become part of the school through regular volunteer opportunities.

To schedule a tour or to ask any questions, contact the school at (254) 771-0787 or send an e-mail to Ms. Renee Morales at rmorales@holytrinitychs.org. We look forward to seeing you at HT!

If possible, please make arrangements at least a week in advance.

        Important notes about shadowing

        What do I wear?
If you currently attend a private school, please wear your current school uniform to Holy Trinity that day. If you attend public school, please do not wear jeans, shorts, short dresses/skirts, low cut shirts or tank tops.

        What time should I arrive?
Please arrive by 8:00 a.m. and check in with a parent at the front receptionist desk.

What do I do about lunch?
Since you are our guest, we will provide lunch for you!

When should I get picked up?
The day will end at 3:50 p.m., and students can be picked up in the main office between 3:50 and 4 pm.

        Who can I shadow?
        There are two options.
1.) You can choose who you would like to shadow.
If you choose the person you want to shadow, we will need to confirm with that student's teachers that it is okay for them to host a shadow.
2.) We can choose a person for you to shadow.

We generally will match you with a student with similar interests (basketball, band, choir, etc.)

  • FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    • 1. Do you have to be Catholic to attend Holy Trinity?
      • No. Roughly 20 percent of our students are non-Catholic.  Our doors are open to anyone who shares a desire for a challenging academic curriculum in a Christian environment.

    • 2. What if my family cannot afford tuition?
      • Holy Trinity strives to make its education affordable to anyone who is willing to be part of our learning community.  If your family cannot afford tuition, please contact the school and apply for financial assistance.  If you are right for Holy Trinity, we will do everything we can to enable you to afford our education.

    • 3. Can I earn college credit while attending Holy Trinity?
      • Yes!  College credits can be earned in two ways.  First, Holy Trinity offers Dual Credit classes in partnership with the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and the Scott and White BioScience center, enabling seniors to attend classes on the UMHB and BioScience campus.  Second, Holy Trinity offers a wide selection of Advanced Placement classes, which can earn students college credit depending on their success on the AP exams.  AP classes are offered in English, Social Studies, Spanish, Science, Math, and Technology.

    • 4. Is Holy Trinity college-preparatory?
      • Yes!  Our expectation is that every student will continue his/her education after high school.  Every class--including electives--is intended to be college-preparatory.  We seek to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in college and beyond.  Our alumni report back to us regularly that they are, indeed, prepared!

    • 5. Am I smart enough for Holy Trinity?
      • There's a trick to this one--do your homework!  Holy Trinity is a college preparatory high school, and we expect all of our students to attend an institution of higher learning.  However, while we send many of our graduates to some of the nation's finest universities--Notre Dame, Duke, University of Chicago, Texas A&M, the University of Texas, Mary Hardin-Baylor, we also send many students to community colleges, military or technical schools.

    • 6. Do you have the same opportunities as some of the bigger schools?
      • Actually, we offer you more opportunities.  Because we are a small school, most of our students become involved in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities and athletics.  Athletic coaches and fine arts directors work together to ensure that students are able to participate in multiple activities.  A typical female student may play in a volleyball game on Thursday, compete in speech or debate on Saturday, attend a Student Council meeting on Monday, lead a prayer service on Tuesday, and cheer in a football game on Friday.  Not many large schools can offer you the same.  Holy Trinity students can be as involved as they want to be!  We believe in the value of a well-rounded student.

    • 7. Do you have to be Catholic to work at Holy Trinity?
      • There are some positions that are restricted to Catholics only--chaplain, principal, theology teachers.  However, many positions are open to people of other faiths who share and believe in the mission of Holy Trinity.

    • 8. Do you have uniforms?
      • Yes. We contract with Get Noticed Solutions out of Waco, TX.  Very simply, our young men wear khaki pants, a white or navy golf-type shirt (informal), a white Oxford shirt (formal), and a tie.  Our young ladies wear a plaid skirt, white or navy golf-type shirt (informal), and a white Oxford blouse (formal).
